Bye Bye Panthers :(

Rachel and I went to the Bank Atlantic Center Saturday morning for the Panthers/Capitals practice, which is open to the public. This was the final Panthers practice of the season, as we missed the playoffs by ONE POINT!! I brought the markII with me to get some good shots, unfortunately they had the strobes at the arena on a different channel, so I couldn’t use my pocket wizard to get some extra light.

We got to the Bank a bit late and missed the Panthers, which was to my dismay. We caught the Caps with all their superstars on the ice, including Alex Ovechkin and friends. While I was shooting, Ovechkin shot a puck over the glass and Rachel pushed down some small children and a man in a wheel chair to get her hands on it! I’ll have some pics of that later.

We later went to the game in the evening where we stomped the Caps 7-4, Booth had a 5 point night and Emminger and Tarnasky scored their first goals of the season which puts down every regular playing Panther with a goal for the season. Best game we had been to all year and it only took them 82 tries. Looks like we will be losing some of the guys to free agency, including Jay Bouwmeester.

Modified Luxury and Exotics

Better late than never okay? This issue of MLE has been on stands for a while I’ve just neglected to post it up. Its actually MLE’s last issue, which is cool that this feature made it before it was axed. This Aston Martin belongs RSC (Racing Sport Concepts) Tuning, a company based out of Miami that offers aero gear and performance accessories for a variety of high end luxury vehicles, as seen below. The aftermarket accessories that were added to the Aston were subtle, but gave the Vantage an aggressive look. Check out http://www.rsctuning.com for more info!

More New Stuff!

Got a call in the am yesterday, Ben from Wheels Boutique was on the horn, he asked me to come pick up his brand new Audi R8 which was just outfitted with a set of stunning HRE Wheels, and take some photos of it. Of course I agreed. What an attention grabber this thing is. Everywhere I went people were wondering what the hell it was that I was driving. A nice change to drive something sporty, other than my racing edition Toyota Tundra. And, in typical fashion, I’ve only posted a few wheel teaser shots. I should be finished with the set in a couple days.

Neil Tjin Loves Me

Neil Tjin was in town this past week, and if you haven’t heard, he is now working for Theory Concept which means Phil Luis is now his boss, sucker. We all went out to eat on Wednesday night at Bangkok City, which happens to be all of our favorite restaurant. The usual antics went down with Toxxin Erik, Rachel Young, Emilio, Phil Luis, James Poole, and the rest of the family. As we were having dinner, Neil expressed his opinion about receiving photos from me. The video is self explanatory. Nothing major just a short funny video of Neil being stupid as usual. Lots more to come this weekend, stay tuned, all nine of you who read this!

South Beach: Lincoln Road

Miami’s not very urban, but we do get a taste of that every now and then which I definitely appreciate, even at it’s worst. Rachel Young and I went down to the beach to have a drink last night and we ran into this guy playing the guitar and singing some random tunes. A cool sight to see in Miami for sure. It was cool to see the types of people that walked by in the video and their reactions to the man playing. Also, check out that permit he has pinned to his shirt, apparently, he actually has permission to be there.

I also ran into one of my friends while I was there, who is also a street performer. He told me its like a lottery that you apply for, if your name is picked, you get a permit to be street performer. I guess everywhere has to have rules.

Check this man out!
