Hockey season (NHL) starts in about ten days or so, needless to say I AM EXTREMELY EXCITED. And to go along with my NHL Center Ice Package from Directv, I’ve also just received my Florida Panthers Season tickets in the mail in preparation for the upcoming season. I also got a fresh Panthers jacket and some other goodies included with the tickets, we (mom and I) will also have our names engraved into our seats in the arena, a new feature for the 08-09 season which we are excited about, I’ll include pics later. GO CATS GO!

GO CATS GO! GO CATS GO!
Canon is changing it all, and this is proof. Check out this insanely crisp video by Vincent Laforet who was lucky enough to get his hands on a 5D MKII before it is released to the public, the entire video was filmed with the 5D. There is also a behind the scenes video (here) that shows how it was all produced, check out the “black edition” 5D MKII! I can’t wait to get mine!

Canon Steps Up Their Game!
There’s been much talk about how Nikon has been embarassing Canon with their newest SLR body cameras. Even myself, a Canon die hard was impressed with Nikon’s new stuff. Canon has been teasing us with rumors of a replacement for the Canon EOS 5D (my camera) but were slim on the details until now. I’ve made my decision on my next camera purchase. Thanks to www.engadget.com for the heads up!
After a brief tease, Canon just got official with its EOS 5D Mark II. The full-frame shooter updates the original 5D introduced back in 2005 with a 24 x 36mm 21.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC 4 processor with 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion, and the ability to capture Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 video — take that Nikon D90 and your paltry 720p. We’re talking 15-point autofocus with 9 selectable AF points, 3-inch Live View LCD offering 4x the pixels of the original 5D, and a 3.9fps burst for unlimited JPEGs or up to 14 RAW images when using a UDMA CF card.
With regard to video, the EOS 5D Mark II captures Full HD video at 30fps as well as VGA / 30fps for the first time on any Canon SLR. Of course, it works with any of Canon’s 60 EF lenses (and whatever Carl Zeiss cooks up) for ultra-wide-angle, fish-eye, macro, and super-telephoto videography. Video can be recorded at up to 4GB per clip which is equivalent to about 12 minutes of Full HD video or 24 minutes in VGA. Video clips are recorded in .MOV format using MPEG-4 video compression and linear PCM audio. Welcome back to the show Canon, we were starting to worry.
143 E92!
For those of you who are of the iPhone era and missed out on super fun beeper codes, 143= I love you. Which is fitting for this crazy sick Ericsson (Amuse) aero equipped BMW M3 (e92). The front and rear bumpers will set you back well over $15,000.00 and thats not including the sideskirts and trunk. The BBS LM-R’s really set this thing off, and check out that crazy exhaust system! I love this thing!
